It’s that time of the month that I round up my favorite Amazon buys from the past 30 days! I truly look forward to sharing these lists with you guys so much, because who can’t relate to the magic and joy of receiving Amazon packages at your front door?! In May, I dabbled in some fashion finds, a few new beauty tools, a little bit of home goods, and a lot of books. I’m trying to read 100 books in 2020 and, since we’re halfway through the year (HOW?!), I decided to load up for the summer.
May 2020 Amazon Favorites
Nespresso Pods
Had to reup on my favorite Nespresso pods this month. I love the Melozio, which is a medium roast that reads super smooth and a little cereal-y!
Closet Hooks
Organization was the name of the game in May. Buying these wall mounted coat racks was a game changer! They’re insanely affordable and come in packs of two, so you can go to town on hanging whatever your heart desires!
Tumblers
These eco-friendly tumblers made from natural wheat starch caught my eye immediately on Amazon! I love their look and the fact that they’re made from renewable and reclaimed materials. Plus, they’re dishwasher safe, don’t break if dropped, and the colors are so cute! We’ve been using these every day since they arrived.
Tie-Dye Kimono
I’m all about comfort and loose-fitting everything this summer. It gets so hot in Reno plus, with limited access to the outside world, I want to feel easy and breezy in my house in the coming months. This open front tie-dye kimono is perfect for all the above. It works great as a swimsuit cover-up and also looks super cute with shorts and a tank if you need to run a quick errand! You can even pop it up with heels and a pair of sunnies to make it a full look.
Caftan
I wish it was socially acceptable to live in caftans because I would if I could! I absolutely love these caftans from Amazon. They’re all under $30 and there are endless designs to choose from so you can pick the one that speaks to your style the most! Wear it by the pool or around the house as a summer robe.
Jelly Slides
The only shoes I’m interested in wearing during summer are easy on, easy off. I love these jelly slides so much. They’re fun, really comfortable and great to wear to the pool, around the house, or even on errands. I mean, who doesn’t love and need a pink sparkle jelly slide in their life?!
Bibs/ Drool Cloths
Something I’ve learned very quickly with a newborn is that you can literally never have too many bibs. I got this adorable 4-pack of grey and white bibs by Burt’s Bees and really love them. Plus, at just $15 for 4, it’s more than worth it for something you go through on the daily!
Nude Slippers
This style slipper has been so popular, and I can see why. I ordered a pair this month and feel like I haven’t taken them off since! They’re incredibly fluffy and make you feel like you’re walking on super fuzzy carpet all day, and the open toe sandal design allows your feet to breathe—a win win!
Acrylic Stapler
I also treated myself to this super chic acrylic stapler for my office. The gold against the acrylic is just so clean and modern and looks really smart on top of any desk.
Acrylic Tissue Box
I didn’t know I needed an acrylic tissue box until I saw this one on Amazon. I also didn’t know you could make tissues look so chic, so this purchase was not only a smart one but also taught me so much about tissues!
Beauty Blender Drying Rack
I try to be really good about cleaning my beauty blenders as often as I can, but the worst part is the drying! Once you have a clean beauty blender, it’s like where do you set it so it’s in a clean place and can dry completely? This acrylic drying rack has solved that issue for me, I love it! It has 9 slots total, and I use it beyond just drying my blenders—it’s now their little home where I keep them always!
Crystal Shards
I thought these would be so pretty on a bowl or tray – anywhere in the house really!
Crystal Cluster
I bought this to use for shoots but also as decor – so impressed with the quality!
Ingrown Hair Brush
Ingrowns are a bitch. During the summer, we’re all shaving, waxing, and plucking more than usual, so I got this exfoliating ingrown hair brush to try and get ahead of stubborn, painful ingrowns. You simply use it on the area you’re going to shave or wax beforehand to really exfoliate hairs. You can use it dry or with a body wash in the shower, whichever is most comfortable. Do it twice daily for 15-30 seconds to see the best results!
Books
Like I said, I’m trying for 100 books read in 2020, so I went a little heavy on book orders in May. It worked out well, though, because one of my favorite things to do during the summer is read by the pool, so I would say I’m set! Let me know if you’ve read any of these or plan to!
