As you can tell from our Et Cetera posts, we are always scouring the web for inspiration, and we love finding new sites to get our creative juices flowing. Recently, we came across the Yahoo Style site and we have been loving everything we’ve been finding there. They have incredible articles, exclusive interviews, glittering gift guides, and the most up to date information on everything having to do with fashion. All we can say is, we’re obsessed.

One particular YahooStyle article that we love is 21 Winter Boots; it is no secret that both of us love our boots (see hereherehere and here). Since we both live in pretty cool climates (Reno & San Francisco), looking good and staying warm can be a challenge, no matter how hard we try. Thankfully, #yahoostyle has us covered. They compile a great list of boots to keep you warm and also have you looking your best. From Hunter, to Rag & Bone, to Jimmy Choo, they cover all the bases. Since we love mixing and matching items from all different price ranges, their list is perfect for us, and we are sure you’ll enjoy it too.

Their slideshow proves that it is possible to still look stylish while spending anywhere from $27-$2000. The styles they list range from snow boots, to booties, to over the knee and moto boots. We both actually own a few pairs of boots that are included in their list, but the slideshow inspired us to expand our boot collections even further. The Sam Edelman “Petty” bootie was the perfect fit. No pun intended.

It is normally a struggle to find a pair of boots you can wear year round, but we think these might be the ones. They can be worn casually for day time but can also be dressed up to wear in the evening. In the post above, Emily pairs them with a casual sweater and jeans, but she also wears them with a black dress and tights. In the summer they’d be perfect with cutoff shorts and a boho top – or with  a camel cashmere sweater and white jeans for a more sophisticated look. The neutral color truly looks great with any outfit,

PS. If your feet are still cold, check out this Cold Feet Gift Guide. These socks are great gifts for anyone on your list, we also recommend getting a pair for yourself. You deserve it!
