Transitioning Your Baby To Solids – With Healthy Times

Reno Blogger, Emily Farren Wieczorek talks about transitioning her daughter to solids with Healthy Times Organic Brown RIce Baby Cereal

*** Thank you to  Healthy Times for sponsoring this post!***

Caroline turned 5 months old last week – and we all know what that means…

It’s time to start her on solids!

We wanted to find the best cereal out there – and I think we have. We’ve been giving her the Healthy Times Organic Brown Rice Baby Cereal, and I couldn’t be happier. Day by day she is getting used to it, I’ll show you on stories later this week, and I can rest easy knowing she is getting the best of the best.

Caroline loves: The Healthy Times Brown Rice Baby Cereal

Right now, The Healthy Times Organic Brown Rice Baby Cereal is the only “solid” we’ve tried with her – and as you can see from the photos – so far, she loves it. To me, the whole point of baby cereal is getting your baby used to their first new texture – aside from breastmilk or formula – and getting them used to the spoon, swallowing, and sitting. All of these things are just SO foreign to a little baby – so I really do  think that baby cereal is an important step when transitioning your bay to solids. Caroline loves the cereal, and I love that I know she’s getting whole grain ingredients and nothing that could be bad for her.  The Organic Brown Rice Baby Cereal also has the perfect mix of vitamins and minerals for brain development, strong bones and teeth and a healthy immune system.

David loves: The Healthy Times Maple Arrowroot Cookies

Healthy Times also makes cookies for your bigger little ones. 🙂 Caroline is too young for these, but we have been giving them to William and David as dessert, and they are IN LOVE with them. They smell like syrup. They taste nice and sweet. But when you look at the ingredients, you can rest assured that you’re not feeding your kids a sugary snack. The Healthy Times Arrowroot Cookies are actually good for your littles and they double as a great source of calcium, iron and zinc.

I love: The heathy ingredients and their partnership with Feed the Children

My biggest thing as a parent is that I want to be able to trust that the brands I’m buying and then feeding to my children only use the best of the best ingredients. With Healthy Times, I feel confident in knowing that my children are getting only the good stuff. Wholesome ingredients, no artificial colors or preservatives, and totally vegetarian as well. Healthy Times’ organic ingredients and lack of additives, ensure my children get the vitamins and minerals they need to grow during every stage of development, from weaning (like Caroline) to teething (like David).

I also love that Healthy Times has partnered with Feed the Children to ensure children and families are given the essentials for a healthy and nourished childhood.  Brands that give back are my absolute favorite – and Healthy Times checks this box as well.

Healthy Times also has a bath and body line – and one lucky Two Peas reader will win a 3 month supply for their family. You can head to instagram to figure out how to enter later tonight!
