Although the name of this brand states that it is “Basiq” it is far from that. In a world where “basic” is the ultimate insult, my friends and I strive to be anything but that. While the Blq brand does have some staple pieces, they are a far cry from basic. I first bought this romper for the Two Peas anniversary shoot. I wanted something ivory or white that was not simple and showed off my personality. That was a very difficult task. I can’t tell you how many options I ordered and sent back.
If you haven’t noticed by now, I have a serious affinity for wearing darker colors; all black is fine with me. So for me, wearing this white romper was a bit of a risk, if you could call it that. But, it is so amazing! I just love the pom pom details along the shorts, the fabric is so soft, and it could be casual or dressy depending on how you accessorize.
This romper screams tropical vacation to me. When I first put it on I thought, “this would be so perfect for a honeymoon.” I have been wanting to go to Italy and Greece soooooo badly… this romper might just be the perfect excuse to start planning a trip 😉 I am heading to Tahoe with Joe and all my college girlfriends and this will be the very first thing I pack!
