You all know that I LOVE anything with a feminine flair. So when I saw these amazing suede flips flops from Taryn Rose via Zappos, it was love at first sight.
The minute I opened them, I knew they would be my favorite feminine flip flops for summer. The leather is SO so so soft. I can appreciate this, because my feet tend to blister easily. Anything that is rough or too plastic-y doesn’t do well for me. I wore these shoes ALL DAY the day of this shoot, and I can easily say that these are some of the most comfortable sandals in the world. The fresh leather smell was so amazing, and it made me smile, because I fell like all truly nice shoes just have “that” smell. It is like the first test when I open a shoe box. Does it have the “nice shoe” smell?
Then there are the details. The stitching on the sandals is beautiful. The leather and suede rose on the top is absolutely stunning. And what’s more, the padding on the sole of the shoes is an indicator that the shoes are incredibly well made. I feel like there are so many sandals you get nowadays that have absolutely 0 support. Personally, those just aren’t the shoes for me. I spend my days running errands, or running around after my kids, and in addition to being beautiful, I need my shoes to be comfortable as well. These shoes are absolutely both.
