Ashley's Baby Shower - Ashley & Emily

I am so excited to share my baby shower with you guys today! My mom and Joe’s mom thew me the most gorgeous shower in San Francisco at Presidio Social Club with the help of Adine, party planner extraordinaire. I definitely had a clear vision for the day and everyone executed it perfectly. If you know me, you know I am not traditional by any means — take my wedding for example. And my baby shower was no different.

Much to my mom’s dismay, I wanted a very neutral baby shower. I themed it all around my Bottega Pouch and favorite Yeezys. I knew I wanted the vibe to be tan and neutral and so I got the most amazing dress from Pink Blush, and Good American sent me the most perfect duster to add a pop of something fun on top! I obviously couldn’t attend the shower of Baby Joe without wearing my name necklace!

I knew I wanted no color really, lots of pampas grass, and absolutely NO GAMES, lol. I wanted a really good meal, so we went with one of my favorite brunch spots in the city, Presidio Social Club. The menu was amazing as you can see. They nailed it as usual! The room looked so perfect. Adine went above and beyond to make sure that every detail was on theme — from the books to the baby elephant banks — so so good. The florals were so good I still have two of them in my house!

The cookies were done by the same girl who did our Engagement Party — we kept the Yeezy cookies because they were just too cute to eat. She totally understood the vibe.

For the favors, I really wanted to give something useful and positive so we went with a smudge bar! Everyone made their own smudge sticks out of fresh stems and got a crystal to attach as well. I love all the good vibes that the baby is already sending out! Mine is just now dried out enough to burn, and I can’t wait even though I kind of want to keep it to remember the day by!

The thing I miss the most about San Francisco besides my friends, in no particular order are Barry’s, Suzie Cakes and Shannon (okay, and Hillstone). And we got to have all three at the shower, which was just the best!
