If you’ve ever watched our stories, you know that I LOVE my morning cup of coffee. Or my 5 cups of morning coffee. But really, who’s counting? My Keurig cup of coffee in the morning makes me happy and I am obsessed with how easy and brainless Keurig makes it.

I vividly remember buying my first Keurig on my own. I was living in Las Vegas – without Joe – because I had moved there for my job and we were doing our engagement long distance. It was lonely, I didn’t know anyone, and I think this is truly when my homebody tendencies really started. I figured that if I was going to live in a town where I didn’t have any friends, I might as well make my condo my own little slice of heaven. So I ordered everything I could afford to make it that way, and my Keurig was one of those things. I used to work crazy hours at my bond trading job. I worked from 4:30am to 2:30pm (East Coast Market hours on the West Coast) so coffee wasn’t something that was a luxury. No. It was an absolute necessity.

Every morning I would start my day with a cup of Major Dickason’s made in my Keurig – and let me tell you…. 7 years later, NOTHING has changed. I do like a pour over here and there, but let me tell you, NOTHING and I tell you NOTHING beats the ease of my Keurig. I am not really an espresso person… I am a drip coffee kind of gal… and the Peets K cups that you can get in bulk at QVC are the absolute best.

Also – if you are a person that hosts, like we do – you have to put a Keurig in your guest room. Whenever I stay at a hotel and they don’t have a coffee maker in the hotel room – it is like THE worst thing in the world to me. To have to go to the lobby in my PJS with my makeup undone – ugggh. It just puts me in a funk. So, I feel like the same applies when people stay at my house. If you’re going to stay with us, you’re going to have a Keurig in the guest room, and you can enjoy your first cup all to yourself in the comfort of your guest room.
