Great minds and great blogging partners think alike! Ash and I’s lists of top August sellers are eerily similar, which only reiterates how similar we are even though we’re so different. While you’ll see a few items we both loved and sold last month, I’ve got some amazing pieces that made their way into my top 10 list!
Emily’s August Bestsellers
Beauty Bio R45:
Ash has this on her August Best Sellers list, too and I couldn’t agree with her more. Since I started this 3-phase regeneration kit from BeautyBio, my skin feels so good. I can tell the difference in its glow and I’m not spotting any new fine lines or wrinkles! I recommend checking it out if you want to overhaul your routine in the best way.
Distressed Jeans:
Articles of Society makes great affordable denim, which is hard to find these days. For just $64, the Sarah Distressed Skinny Jean has the feel of jeans you’ve owned forever and fit like a glove, but from day one instead of day 1,000! They’re flattering on every body type and a great addition to your collection.
Long Sleeve Tee:
Ash and I both love this Free People tee so much. Bottoms are completely optional in the Arden top. But, if you have to wear pants, it completely covers your bum so you can wear leggings confidently and happily. I also love it french tucked into jeans (a la Tan France) with heels for a more dressed up look.
Crewneck Sweater:
Sweater weather is upon us! This simple pullover from Treasure & Bond was one of my favorite (and yours, too) purchases in August. The ripped crewneck, cuffs, and hem make it casual while the style itself is so classic. You can never have enough solid, high-quality crewneck sweaters for fall!
Drapey Jacket:
I like to refer to this piece as a coatigan. It’s not exactly a coat, but it’s more than a cardigan! Whatever you want to call it, it was in my top 10 last month which makes me happy because it’s such a good piece. It’s something I find myself reaching for all the time to throw over a white tee and jeans. It’s able to bring an outfit to life in seconds, and it’s available in three colors so you can choose the one that best suits your style.
Best White Tee:
This Calson rounded v-neck tee is my favorite white tee. It’s just simple and easy to wear on its own or with layers. If you’re on the hunt for the perfect white tee, this is definitely it (might as well get a few more colors while you’re at it)!
Butter Bra:
I’ve been wearing this bra nonstop for 3 years and I thank GOD every day that I found it. I was so excited that Ash fell in love with it too because we always get asked how it is for larger chested women. Well… now you have your answer! It’s the perfect, everyday bra. It’s so comfortable, you truly forget you’re wearing anything (which can be nerve racking for the moments you’re at the store and can’t remember if you put it on or not). I love it and can’t suggest it enough! Your chest will thank you.
Floral Dress:
I love this dress for fall! Not to say you can’t wear it now, but how cute is this going to be in the fall with a jean jacket, booties, and one of my $16 fall hats from Amazon?! Florals and fall just go together, and it’s hard to come by great long sleeve mini dresses, so grab this while you can.
Cowl Neck Sweater:
I have loved this sweater for two years now and I am so thrilled that you are loving it too! This one is a favorite of mine. It’s flattering throughout the body while giving you that impossibly cozy cowl neck. Plus, the cuffs are ribbed, so you can push them up a bit or double roll them depending on how you like to style your sweaters.
Black Bootie:
This was a super popular Nordstrom Sale item and for good reason. The Kaylah bootie from Steve Madden may be the perfect bootie. The slits make it so edgy and modern, but the pointed toe and shiny black keep it incredibly classy; plus, the chunky heel makes them comfortable enough to wear all day. Love them!
