Last weekend, Joe and I headed to Arata’s Pumpkin Farm with my photographer and had the BEST morning ever. The family that owns and runs Arata’s Pumpkin Farm were so kind and hospitable, and their property was STUNNING. As you know, I am obsessed with all things fall. I fully embraced my inner basic bitch and was truly in pumpkin heaven.

Joe bought this truck this summer — I knew it would be the perfect prop for a photo shoot but I was waiting for the perfect location and theme idea. When I saw the photos of Arata’s I knew it was the perfect spot to shoot the new truck. I don’t think a pumpkin patch was what Joe had in mind when he bought the truck, but he was such a good sport about it.
If you watched my last try on session, this sweater was one of the recent pieces I picked up from Express. I really stocked up on all the fall things — I am loving these orange shades and they have so many amazing sweaters right now! I love the tie sleeves on this one & the color is just so perfect! It comes in three other colors and is on sale right now!
I can’t wait to show you the rest of the content we shot at Arata’s Pumpkin Farm — it’s all so good! If you are in the bay area, I highly recommend making the drive out to Half Moon Bay to check this place out. It is especially perfect if you have kids. They have a maze, pony rides, train rides, a haunted house and much more! The river of pumpkins was unreal — it just kept going and going and going. You can definitely spend an entire day here, there is so much to see!
We took home a whole wheelbarrow full of pumpkins, and now my stoop is the cutest in the neighborhood. I could not believe their selection!
