Every girl dreams of having Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Like every other woman out there, I grew up OBSESSED with Audrey Hepburn. My stuffed animal is named Holly (as in Golightly), and this is the only instance where I believe the movie is better than the book.
When I first heard about this breakfast celebrating the opening of the newly remodeled Tiffany’s Union Square, I was ecstatic. I took the morning off of work — I had to; it was Breakfast at Tiffany’s ( over / under on how many more times I say that)! We were the first group of people to view the new store before it opened to the public, so that was pretty cool. It was so amazing to get to experience this with two of my favorite humans Katie from Lola & Ivy, and Sarah from Sassy Red Lipstick.
Of course, I was having so much anxiety about what to wear. This was the day before we left for New York Fashion Week, so to say my life was hectic is a huge understatement. Luckily, the week before I had an amazing meeting at Les Lunes. They hooked me up with this amazing jumpsuit. It was seriously so comfy — and so much more up my alley than putting on a dress on a Wednesday morning. I was feeling so comfy that I even wore heels, which you know I never do.
I hadn’t been into the store since I was in college — but as you can tell, it is absolutely stunning! They did such an amazing job modernizing everything. They also added an amazing garden terrace upstairs, and an entire watch gallery! It was such a fun morning trying on diamonds with all my girls! If you get the chance, definitely stop by and see the gorgeous new store (350 Post Street)!
