As you know – I am a HUGE fan of culottes right now, and when I saw this amazing co-ord set (for just $35) I knew I had to have it.
So… let’s talk about culottes. I think they get a bad rap, and they’re totally unloved. They have this inherently frumpy connotation, but in my opinion, everyone has to get over it. It’s just silly. Gone are the days of the campy, dowdy, “I just rolled out of bed” culottes. No… this season’s are so much more than that. They’re far more elegant than capris, and the generous cuts I’ve been seeing make your legs look like Gisele’s. <<< Take it from little old – 5’6″- me. 🙂
Tangent – speaking of “unloved” things – I have been on a serious carnation (the flower) kick lately. I bought 5 bouquets a couple weeks ago for product shots (see below) and they are still going strong. <<< I mean why on earth do people hate carnations so much? I posted on Snapchat last week that carnations are the unsung heroes of the flower world – and they totally are. They’re beautiful, they’re affordable, and they come in every color under the sun! So you tell me — what is the deal?
So… as you can see – between carnations and culottes, I’m loving everything that was previously unloved, and you should too! I’ve linked plenty of culottes below – and I’ve even added in some co-ords as well.
