As you all know – I am OBSESSED with my Air Fryer. I was definitely a late adopter on the Air Fryer train. But it seems as if most of you are too, so at least I am in good company. Here’s the deal. I LOVE my Air Fryer. I bought it initially because I wanted to use our microwave less. I also needed something that could cook food quickly for my kids. On top of all of that… I reasoned that if I could find a device that could make healthy foods taste even better – that would be a win as well.

Crispy Hot Chicken Wings:
Crispy Hot Chicken Wings:
Ingredients:
- 1 -2 dozen frozen chicken wings
- 1 cup Franks hot sauce
- 2 tbs butter
- Accompaniments – Ranch, Blue Cheese, Carrots, Celery
Directions: These are so incredibly easy to make. The first time I made them, I seriously thought to myself, “Really? That’s it?!?!”
- We get the chicken wings that are already pre cut into flats and drumettes
- Place frozen chicken wings in an even layer in your air fryer basket
- Set your air fryer to 400 and cook for 25-30 minutes
- I turn the wings half way through the cook time if I want them to be extra crispy on both sides.
- While your wings are cooking, melt 2tbs of butter and add 1 cup of franks’ wing sauce in a large bowl
- When wings are done in the air fryer, toss them in the sauce mixture, tap off excess sauce and arrange on a bed of lettuce with celery and carrots and a side of ranch or blue cheese.
- Serve immediately
Crispy Toasted Sesame & Soy Brussel Sprouts With Siracha Aioli:
Crispy Toasted Sesame & Soy Brussel Sprouts With Siracha Aioli:
Ingredients:
- 2 large bags of halved Brussel sprouts
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 2 tbs sugar (optional)
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (you can easily sub tamari or coconut aminos as well)
- 2 TBS Sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup Toasted pine nuts (optional)
Directions: Brussel sprouts are my favorite thing to make in the air fryer. They are so quick and SO much crispier than when I would roast them in the oven.
- I buy Brussel sprouts in bags from the store that are already peeled and halved and it makes it so much easier.
- Lay your Brussel sprouts in an even layer in your air fryer basket. Drizzle with sesame oil.
- You will have to make your Brussel sprouts in two batches FYI
- Put the sprouts in your air fryer for 12-15 minutes on 365.
- Toast pine nuts with a little butter in a pan over medium heat
- Now, make your sauce/dressing – you don’t need all of it – I save some for salads the next day!
Dressing:
1/4 cup sesame oil
1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar
2 tbs sugar (you can omit or use honey/agave instead)
1/4 cup soy sauce
- When the sprouts are done and nice and crispy – toss with as much dressing as you like.
- Add pine nuts and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Serve with Siracha Aioli.
Siracha Aioli:
Mix mayo and Siracha in a small bowl 🙂
