It feels SO good to be posting about something that is not the Nordstrom Sale! We had a friend in town from Miami this past weekend, and he had never been to San Francisco, so Joe and I decided to take him to Union Square to do a little shopping. Well, things escalated from there and I ended up coming home with some brand new Fendi slides.

I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Fendi, as it was my very first designer bag. I pulled this beauty out of the archives a few months ago, and have been loving all things Fendi this year. My birthday is coming up in a few weeks, and I wanted to treat myself to something nice. I used to spend a ton of money on designer shoes I never ended up wearing. So recently have been investing in more practical shoes like these Alexander Wang booties, and my favorite Gucci Sneakers. The price per wear goes down drastically because of how much use I get out of them, which makes me feel better about spending the money.
As always, I love to pair my higher end items with some more affordable pieces. I am rocking my new Express Jeans – their new Perfect Denim line is AHHmazing — more on that next week! My tee is also from Express and under $30.
