January through February is a super quiet time. The holidays are behind us, we’re in transition between seasons, and the only thing on the horizon is Valentine’s Day. We don’t know about you guys, but we’re planning to enjoy this slower period of time by really leaning into self care. We’ve found the best deals on some of our tried and true favorites!
Walmart Beauty has an amazing selection of high quality, recognizable skin, hair, and beauty brands that make treating yourself well at the start of the new year easy and highly enjoyable!
It may be wintertime, but the sun is still shining just as bright so we never skimp on our daily dose of SPF. EltaMD UV Clear SPF 46 is an oil-free formula that’s super lightweight and protects our skin with vitamin B3, hyaluronic acid, and lactic acid. It can be worn on its own or under makeup! I love this one especially for these last winter months because it is SUPER hydrating – which is exactly what I need!
And speaking of SPF, we love Obagi Sun Shield Lotion for all over body use! It has a sheer, matte finish so it’s not at all greasy, and it’s fragrance-free which makes it perfect for sensitive skin.

Almay’s Oil Free, Cruelty Free, Fragrance Free eye makeup remover pads are truly lifesavers. It’s hard to get every last bit of eyeliner and mascara off with just a cleanser, and these cooling pads are so effective. They’re definitely a cult favorite for a reason!
As far as scents go, Walmart carries some of the most recognizable ones like Kate Spade’s Live Colorfully eau de parfum. It’s been around since 2013, and it’s bright, floral, and just a touch of musk scent is so beautiful and instantly recognizable.
Same goes for Burberry’s Classic eau de parfum. This perfume is so gorgeous and has way too many scent notes to list. It’s complex and simple all at once, and sells for just $34 in comparison to its typical $98 value!
Self care = a bathtub full of bubbles. At least to us, anyway. This Find Your Happy Place Bubble Bath that doubles as a shower gel is the most relaxing scent. The chamomile and sandalwood creates the perfect bathtime situation. Just have your S/O pour you a glass of wine and leave you be for at least a half hour!
We can’t go to bed without applying this popular lip mask by Laneige. This is a must all year-round, but especially during winter when you’re more dehydrated than usual. It even comes with a tiny application wand so you don’t have to dip your fingers into the jar over and over!
We had no idea Walmart carried one of the best eyeshadow palettes of all time until today! The Naked Heat palette by Urban Decay features 12 amber-hued neutrals from super light to super dark that you can have so much fun with. Urban Decay product is always 100% cruelty-free.
Because kids need hair products, too! This leave-in conditioner is so gentle and smells amazing. If you have a little one with waves or curls that you have no idea how to contain, definitely grab a bottle of this stuff! It has 4.6 stars and over 250 reviews for a reason!
