Sephora Shopping Event:
You guys know I am a freak about my facial massage, if you have no clue WTF I am talking about then head to this post, but if you were thinking about getting the Uplift (my personal fav facial massage tool), then now is the time! Lately I have been applying it with this Vitamin C serum. Here are the makeup products I use every single day — and honestly I went back to look at some old Sephora posts, and not much has changed, what can I say, I’m a creature of habit. But I thought I would walk you through some new and noteworthy ones, as well as give exact shade details here!
After my morning skincare, I always put on this sunscreen. For primer I use the Porefessional GEL, I am a tad on the oily side, so I love how this mattifies your skin. The It Cosmetics primer is amazing too! Next up, I dab under my eyes with The Pearl — I got this over a year ago and I still have a ton left. I am obsessed! After this, I use a damp beauty blender to apply my foundation, right now I am using Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk in shade 5.25. If I’m not using this, it’s because I am using my all-time favorite CC Cream. I put my undereye concealer on (I use drugstore) and then I BAKE with the Huda powder. I use shade Banana Bread to really lighten that under eye area! Head to our IG highlight titled “eye tutorial.” if you don’t know what I mean. While that bakes, I do my contouring and start on my eyes.
This Nars brush has really changed the game for me. I have a v puffy face, and so the contour is essential. This brush allows you to really get those harsh Kardashian style contour lines – this makes it appear as though I have visible cheekbones. I recently picked up the new shade of Hoola, Caramel, and haven’t gone back since. It is dark though, for daytime, I would still say use the original! I then set all of this with my Laura Mercier mineral foundation, shade Natural Beige with my Airbrush 55 — this is when I dust off the baking powder. Next is blush in shade Berry Dawn. For contour / highlight we both use this one from Charlotte Tilbury. They both come in one and it’s super convenient!
I normally keep my eyes pretty simple, unless I am shooting. I have used Primer Potion since I can remember — like I’m talking 10 years I think. It’s the best — nothing else comes close! While this sets in, I do my brows — I love the It Cosmetics universal, Emily and I both use this one! My eye shadow depends on my outfit, but right now I am loving the Tartlette one – it’s just easy. I also LOVE the new Naked Palette. I do my eyeliner with the Kat Von D tattoo, and then my winged eyeliner stamp (from Amazon). I am not as picky about my mascara — I will usually use whatever is laying around. Lately it’s been either this one or this one.
At night my holy grail products are my GloPro — one of our all-time bestsellers, and the Laneige Lip Mask! These are all items I buy over and over and over again. I will be stocking up on a few of these for this sale!
