Today we are talking all about the belt bag trend! I have wanted a Gucci belt bag for literally ever, but I was unsure about spending that much on a style of bag I have never tried out before. I found this amazing one, that’s under $40. Keep reading because I am breaking down all the pros and cons of the belt bag, plus my final thoughts.

Pros: The belt bag is definitely one of the easiest bags to wear. It’s totally hands-free and you don’t have to fuss with readjusting it on your shoulder or wrist all day. If you are going to a music festival, amusement park or a concert, I would highly recommend this style of bag. They make a ton of different shapes and sizes, so you can definitely find the right one for you.
Cons: This may be TMI, but going to the bathroom with one of these bags is pretty annoying. It’s not like a normal belt that buckles in the front, so you kind of have to reach around in order to re-fasten it. Not a huge deal, but food for thought. Waist placement is another issue, this one fit perfectly around my waist, but only with really high-waisted jeans. I had to try on a few pairs before I found one that worked.
Final thoughts: I am going to keep this bag, mostly because of the price point. But, I don’t see it as an everyday bag, more so of an occasion bag. I’m thinking of attending Outside Lands in August, and this would be perfect for that. I definitely wouldn’t spend more than $100 on a bag like this!
P.S. This bodysuit is only $29 and comes in three colors (size down!).
