One of my FAVORITE things about shopping is finding an item I didn’t expect to love. That was totally the case with this dress.
I saw this dress on the Nordstrom website the day the NSale started, and I’m not going to lie, I didn’t look twice at it. For whatever reason, the image they have of it online just doesn’t do it justice. At all. It didn’t even make it in my shopping cart.
But then everything changed.
As you know, I spent this past Friday and Saturday in San Francisco for a working-blog-weekend with Ashley. Friday night we decided we’d go to dinner, and then we’d shop the NSale in person since I don’t have a Nordstrom where I live. When we arrived, one of the Nordstrom stylists had this amazing dress waiting for me in the dressing room, and thank goodness she did.
The minute I saw it I fell in love.
It has the cutest silhouette. The ruffles on the sleeves are adorable. AND the mini polka dot print is totally on trend for fall. I also really love that you can dress it up with sky high heels – like I did here – OR you can wear it with closed toe flats for a more “day appropriate” look. I have a pair of Chanel quilted flats that I’m dying to wear it with. 🙂
