Here’s a little known fact about me – I grew up riding horses.
I grew up in Connecticut, and horseback riding is pretty much a way of life there. As soon as I was old enough, my mom signed my up for horseback riding lessons, and every weekend I would do anything I could to spend every waking minute at the barn.
Every fall – just as we’d go back to school shopping – my mom and I would also go “back to the barn” shopping. We would head to the tack shop in town and get new riding shirts, jodhpurs, and of course riding boots.
