Happy New Year everyone! The first outfit post of 2016, Wahooo!!! I’m currently on day 5 of my Whole30 challenge. I have been getting SO many texts, comments and replies to my snaps about what I’ve been eating and making so I am going to do a full week one recap for you guys at the end of the week! Now onto the outfit…
When I went home for the holidays, I had no intention to shoot this post. It was just a normal winter day at the park with our family’s pride and joy, Murphy- but it was too gorgeous not to capture. Joe and I headed to Reno for a week to spend Christmas with my family. And it was freezing. My friends in the midwest always laugh at me when I complain about the temperature when it’s not under 30 degrees. But what can I say, I’m a California girl now.
The trip home was a huge success. I ate way too many cookies, drank way too much wine, and laughed. A lot. It was so great to spend quality time with my family and with Emily’s family too. I was the most excited to see William and couldn’t believe how much he has grown since the last time I saw him. Em and I shot so much great content while we were together and January is going to be an exciting month here on the blog!
I was determined to get my Fitbit step goal every day while I was home, and given the weather situation, these boots seriously saved my life. My mom and sister also got a pair for Christmas and they love them too! If you are planning on heading to the snow at all this winter, these boots are a must-have. No more soaking wet Uggs! Yay!
** please forgive all of the snowflakes in these photos. We did the best we could under the blizzardy circumstances 🙂
