To me, the holidays absolutely call for dressing up, and nothing makes me happier than finding the perfect holiday party dresses early.
I feel that I am constantly waiting until the last minute to find the best ones, and I am always underwhelmed with the choices I make. I always end up spending too much, and not being completely in love with my decisions. So to avoid my holiday dress pitfall this year, I decided that I would get my shopping done early.
I started with this amazingly beautiful – and not to mention affordable BB Dakota, bordeaux, lace number. As soon as I got it – I was obsessed. The lace is incredible. I love how it is slightly unfinished looking at the sleeves and hemline. The color is perfect for Thanksgiving dinner or any holiday parties you might be going to… and I love the cut. It is so so so flattering. I always am wary of wearing anything too short this time of year, but this dress hits perfectly mid thigh.
I loved this dress so much in fact… that I actually wore it for our holiday card photos a couple of weeks ago and I am so happy with how they turned out (I’ll be sharing them here next week). Until then, I’ll be trying to decide which holiday cards we’ll be going with this year. I always go back and forth on making a decision on the perfect card… I mean there are just so many options. But this year I have narrowed it down to my top 5. There were 11 options – but Ashley told me that was just ridiculous. 🙂 Let me know which one is your favorite!
Anyhow, back to the dress. It was selling out fast, but it looks to be restocked now, so be sure to shop it if you’ve fallen in love as I have. It comes in black as well, and for reference I am wearing a size 2. As usual, I’ve linked a bunch of other beautiful lace dresses as well for you below – there’s a handful for under $30 – talk about a steal!
Enjoy loves and happy shopping!
