While I was in Rome, this comfortable travel outfit saved me! I mentioned in this post how hard it was to pack as a blogger. I needed practical outfits but also cute outfits for photos. I am in the process of finishing up my Rome travel guide. We packed in a lot of tourist stuff into the 72 hours we were there. The most important thing I learned: being comfortable is key.

As much as I wanted to galavant around Rome in my beautiful dresses and pretty sandals. It just wasn’t practical. I wore this outfit to The Vatican because you have to cover your knees and shoulders in order to enter St. Peters. It was SO hot, but I was actually pretty comfortable in the jeans. I actually prefer wearing long pants in super hot & humid weather to prevent inner thigh chafing. Or as Girl With No Job calls it: chub rub. I actually purchased these bands to wear under dresses to prevent that, and OMG, they were lifesavers. I know I can’t be the only one with this problem!
This tee is only $24 and comes in three other colors. It’s the perfect staple piece. You guys know I love to pair high & low-end fashion together. Since the rest of this outfit was pretty plain, I jazzed it up with these cute slides (only$39)and my beloved Gucci bag.
