I am so excited to finally be sharing some details about our time in Positano. Before I posted my travel guide, I really wanted to share all the details from my stay at Hotel Poseidon. Hotel Poseidon is truly the most magnificent and gorgeous place I have ever seen. I have never fallen in love with a city like I did Positano. And Hotel Poseidon has a lot to do with that. I also shot this look here, in case you missed it.

The staff is so incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. The front desk person who checked us in gave us a full tour of the hotel right when we checked in. The second we stepped foot onto the pool deck, I was in awe. The view was something I had only seen on Pinterest, and never thought I would get to experience in my lifetime.
My mom actually cried when she saw the view. It was that gorgeous. When we got to our rooms, the view just got better. Joe and I were on the very top of the hotel, and I just stared out over our terrace for hours. The rooms were spacious, and extremely luxurious. We had a living room, bedroom, and huge bathroom with a soaking tub and a shower (scroll down to see the gorgeous turquoise tile)!
The service everywhere in the hotel was top notch. Marco, the concierge booked all of our dinners for us, as well as the porter service to take our luggage down to the pier before we left for Capri. Every recommendation he made was amazing — more on this in my travel guide! We also loved the pool! We made friends with Vita, who was the server at the pool. She was so cool and informative — so of course, we followed each other on Instagram. Everyone there made you feel like family.
The best part about Hotel Poseidon, besides the obvious view, was the breakfast! Every morning on the terrace by the pool they served an amazing spread. The price was included in the room fare which was really nice. They had champagne, pitchers of coffee you could take to your table, so many pastries, eggs, fresh juice, and an incredible selection of fruit. I looked forward to waking up early just for this!
When it was time to check out, I was emotionally distraught. I am not proud to admit this — but that is the effect this place has on you. I didn’t want to leave Hotel Poseidon — not then and not ever. Instead of looking at me like I was crazy for crying like a baby in the lobby when it was time to go, the incredible staff handed me a tote bag with the hotel name on it, and the cutest art print of the hotel that I am going to frame and hang in my house! This sweet gesture was just the icing on the cake.
I am already planning my next trip back to Hotel Poseidon. To say I’m counting down the days is an understatement.
