It’s interesting, with technology today, it seems like you find out you’re pregnant almost the minute you get pregnant because of how good the tests are. That being said – it makes for a very long 2 months until you can tell anyone. With this pregnancy, I found out before I was even 4 weeks along. It was the beginning of September, and I had to wait until at least the middle of December to really share the news. In a business where you’re constantly taking photos and sharing what you look like with the world, it is very hard to conceal a couple of pounds of weight gain…. let alone the fact that you’re growing a human.
I was very conscious of every lump and bump that would peek out here and there over the last couple of months. We decided not to announce the pregnancy until after the holidays, so I had to try and keep things under wraps throughout LOTS of holiday parties and lots of photo shoots. Easier said than done. I feel like during the holidays, everyone pulls out their slinkiest dresses, and meanwhile, I was over here like, “Hey this ballgown skirt is gorgeous too!!!”

I seriously don’t know what I would have done without them, especially in the last couple of weeks. They truly just smooth everything out and they allow me to look like my normal self – even when I’m 4-5 months pregnant. Total win! This bodysuit is life changing! Not only is it open bust, so you can wear a bra, or not — but that keeps it from showing when you are wearing a romper, jumpsuit, or dress. I often struggled with what shapewear to wear under jumpsuits, because it’s pretty hard to adjust if you need to. This bodysuit has changed the game for me! I will 100% be bringing this to Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks so I can be looking my best 24/7! Like Emily said above, it’s so hard feeling confident all the time when we are constantly sharing photos of ourselves online. These high waisted shorts are my most worn pair of Spanx! They are super versatile and you can wear them under almost anything — including short dresses. I wore this dress on New Year’s Eve and after we had a HUGE dinner at Lone Eagle Grille, I was not feeling my best, lol. But thank god for these babies! If you are wondering what pair of Spanx to buy first, these would definitely be my number one recommendation. They hold you in, while not being super uncomfortable.
