Classic Camel Coats For Fall

‘Tis the season for camel coats! We love all outerwear around here come fall time, but one of our favorite fall wardrobe staples is the camel coat. Camel is such a rich neutral that pairs with literally any outfit or color, so having one (or a few) to choose from when the temperatures drop is ideal. Today, we’re sharing a handful of options we love from belted and trench to classic and puffers!

Classic Camel Coats For Fall:

Belted: Absolutely love this stunning classic option. The belt literally ties any look together, and the wool makes this a high-quality, incredibly classy camel coat. It’s also midi-length!

Double-Breasted: Another incredible option. This camel coat is a bit deeper in color and features a classic double-breasted front. It’s a longer coat, which makes it perfect for those really cold days!

Knitted: If a traditionally heavy duty coat isn’t your style, consider a knitted camel coat. This one (from MANGO!) is like an elevated shawl or cardigan and has pockets. It’s perfect for layering up on a fall day.

Contrast Button: We love this camel coat because of the color mixed with dark, black buttons. The contrast is attention grabbing and makes this coat standout. The length is midi and, as you can see from the model, this coat looks so good with an all-winter white outfit!

Sweatshirt Coat: If you want something a little lighter to throw on over athleisure or to even keep by the door when it’s time to grab the mail, this camel jacket from Nordstrom is a perfect option. It has a front snap closure and a belt for added waist definition (or if you’re in too big a rush to snap the snaps and just need to throw it on, tie the belt, and go!).

Classic: This camel coat is what we consider a classic. It’s long, it’s wool-blend, it’s double-breasted, and will keep you warm on even the most frigid of days. If you’re in the market for a straightforward camel coat, this is the one.

Trench: There’s something to be said for a great trench coat. It’s so chic and effortless, while adding a light layer of warmth and protection from overcast days that threaten rain. We love this Sam Edelman one from Nordstrom and how cute it looks with just jeans and sneakers!

Teddy: We love our Teddy coats, and we love this perfect one from Walmart even more! The Teddy camel coat look is so fashion-forward and so cozy. Makes us want to put it on and snuggle up with a warm drink outside!

Moto Jacket: A camel coat in the form of a knit moto jacket is ideal for the early days of fall when it’s all about light layers. This one is so affordable and so cute!

Puffer: Puffer jackets create their own outfit. It hardly matters what you wear underneath them; they are the statement! We love this oversized camel puffer jacket from H&M. The black hardware and drawstring that sits at the hem really set it apart!

Shearling: The shearling coat is such a classic look. It’s rugged and sporty while remaining cute and stylish. The faux fur lining keeps you so warm and ready for anything. We imagine this as part of a great hiking or outdoors look!

Faux-Leather Puffer:  I, (Emily) have this jacket in black and wears it ALL the time during the winter! The camel color is so on trend and perfect for blending in with all the fall foliage. Plus, this jacket keeps you SUPER warm into fall and winter!

Faux Fur: We love this faux fur topper over slip dresses and silk camis. It immediately elevates even the most simple of outfits! One of our favorite of all the camel coats!

Blazer: You can’t go wrong with a camel houndstooth blazer for fall and winter. It is one of those classic staple pieces that will stand the test of time. I have multiples in my closet and they look incredible styled with jeans and classic white tee OR with black slacks and a work blouse!
