Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous Memorial Day weekend!
I realize that the whole “white before Memorial Day” thing is so antiquated… winter white is so chic… BUT still… there is something about Memorial Day that makes you want to pull out your white jeans and your most summery sandals. So that is just what I did.
Also – did you see that my hubby got the hint and got me the adorable necklace from PBK that I was loving in this post here? I am obsessed with it, and everyone who sees it comments how sweet it is that I always have William’s name close to my heart. I just love it!
Anyhow, it rained pretty much all weekend here, but it didn’t stop me from celebrating that summer is just around the corner! Right now I’m really into transitional pieces that I can wear in cool or warm weather, and this off the shoulder top from Eight Sixty is perfect for that. I can wear it now with long jeans (see above) and next month with cutoffs as well. I even have the perfect pink skirt to pair it with as soon as the weather warms up. That is the great thing about this floral print, it allows you to play with all sorts of colors.
Also – now that I’m a mom – I really feel like I have to make sure I’m dressed appropriately. Cool mom appropriately. 🙂 So picking one asset to show off at a time is something that I’m working on. This shirt allows you to feel sexy while also being covered up. For that reason, I’m really loving everything “off the shoulder” lately — tops and dresses — here are some of the ones that are in my “cart”.
