The other day on stories, someone asked me if I had done a tour of Caroline’s nursery, and I realized I had not. I shared my inspiration with you guys back before we started (here) – but I never showed you the finished product!
When we first set out to design Caroline’s nursery – I knew one thing – I wanted it to be pink. I was not one of those people that was like “eh— we’re going to go super neutral”. No. I was finally having my girl and I wanted everything pink. That being said – we didn’t go overboard with the pink. We went with blush tones, golds, and lots of natural greenery. I loved how it turned out, and it is one of my favorite rooms in our house.
Because we’ve been in the process of updating our house, and modernizing things, we knew we wanted it to be a modern baby nursery – with traditional touches. I love the super modern acrylic crib and the oversized gold chandelier. It’s funny though, my favorite pieces in the nursery were totally unexpected. Halfway through my pregnancy – I HAD to have a peacock chair for the corner of the room. I sourced this one from Wayfair, but sadly they are all sold out. That being said, I’ve linked the closest thing I could find. It’s not practical at all – but it is beautiful. 🙂 Next – the Fiddle Leaf Fig plant (ours is real) is the most gorgeous green and it adds the perfect contrast to all the blush pink. Lastly – I cannot get enough of this rug. It is so soft, it is the most beautiful white, and Caroline and I could lay on it all day long.
