As you know, I decided not to have bridesmaids, but I did have VIPs. I still wanted my best friends to feel special, so we hosted a VIP hour where all of our besties came an hour early to take photos and have a toast with us in the Gold Rush locker room! To make them feel special, I gifted each girl their very own pair of Birdies, so they could fall in love with the brand just like I did. I highly recommend this as a bridesmaids gift — their new bridal collection is STUNNING! It was inspired by the custom slipper they designed for Meghan Markle to wear to get ready on her wedding day.
I kept my pair on hand at the wedding, so I would have something chic to change into on the dance floor! To be completely honest, I didn’t want to put my real shoes back on before cocktail hour because these were so comfy! And I 100% wore them to the afterparty too!
