I am a sucker for anything feminine. Bows, ruffles. scalloped edging — I love it all. So when I saw this bow tie, I knew I had to have it. I bought it a while ago, before I was even pregnant, and sadly it sat in the top drawer of my dresser for months. When I was looking for the “extra something” to add to this outfit – I knew I wasn’t looking for a necklace or a bracelet – and thankfully I remembered this perfect piece. I think it looks best with a button down, but you could also add it to a crew neck… as long as you’re layering 🙂 This exact one is sold out, but if you head to the ASOS website (you can click the picture above), they have lots of similar styles that are still available – and they’re all under $20.
When I first set out to write this post, I wanted to talk about my favorite go-to looks and items for a fun and fashionable pregnancy. But after writing pages – I figured it really deserves a separate post altogether. Until now, I’ve been hesitant to write much about my pregnancy for fear that hindsight will be 20/20, and I’ll end up feeling differently. But now, safely in my third trimester, I think I can give some decent insight and advice to moms-to-be, and to friends of moms-to-be as well.
