Daniel Wellington x Two Peas in a Prada

If you know me, you know that I am a stickler for punctuality. I don’t like to keep people waiting, and in turn, I also hate to be kept waiting. To me, it’s a respect thing. My time is valuable, and so is everyone else’s. To me, to keep someone waiting says that your time is more important than theirs… and that, my friends, is totally not ok. In fact, it’s downright rude.

I get it. Sometimes people are going to be late. You’re just leaving the house and you step in dog poop. Yuck. You’re stuck in some horrible unforeseen traffic jam. There is nothing worse.  Your boss is holding you at work on a conference call, against your will, and you’ll get fired if you leave. I feel you. You’re putting your toddler in the car and he pukes all over your silk blouse and half of your hair. Oh yeah… I’ve been there. Those things… I get. Some situations are outside of your control. But people who are perpetually late, or people who are perpetually flaky, that, I don’t do.  Punctuality, dependability, and reliability are pillars of my being, and people who don’t subscribe…. well, understandably… I don’t subscribe to them.

Since punctuality is SO important to me, I always have my phone with me, I am always wearing a watch, and all of my personal clocks are set 4-6 minutes ahead of time.

Psycho? Maybe.

Neurotic? Sure.

Effective? 100%. 

All this being said, when Daniel Wellington reached out to me to try one of their watches, I immediately said yes.
