One amazing thing about spending all this time at home the last several months has been the opportunity to get home improvement projects done that I’ve been putting off since forever. For example, finally installing a legitimate hat wall to hang all my hats on!

DIY Hat Wall
I’ve been haphazardly placing my hats in my closet for a long time, which is something you want to completely avoid because they take up so much space. Take it from me—storing hats this way can lead to misshaping them and general wear and tear. I realized I needed a better, safer system for my hats. Now if I were on my own, I would’ve hammered a few nails into the wall, hung my hats, and been done with it (and they for sure would have been crooked). However, I have a former carpenter and contractor as a husband who would never let me get away with that. When it comes to anything home improvement, he wants to do it the right way (i.e. the perfect way).
Of course, we didn’t want to spend a ton of money on the necessary tools to get my hat rack in place, so I immediately turned to eBay to find what I needed for a deal! This self-leveling cross line laser level from Bosch is incredible. It made all the difference in getting the hat rack measurements perfect, and I got it for such a great price! The tools and workshop equipment section on eBay is a goldmine when it comes to stocking up on home improvement pieces you need but don’t want to spend a fortune on. More than that, it’s a goldmine for amazing Father’s Day gifts, which will be here before we know it (Sunday, June 21)!
Is it normal to be this excited over a hat wall? I don’t know, but I’m happy about it. I plan to move the bench out of the way and put in some pampas grass to really complete the vibe and can’t wait. I can’t recommend eBay enough for completing all your home projects like a pro!
Thank you so much to eBay for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
