Dyson Air Wrap Review

I have super exciting news for all my hair care junkies out there: the Dyson Airwrap is finally back in stock at Nordstrom and Sephora! If you’re looking for a hair styling tool that can curl, wave, smooth, and dry your hair entirely without extreme, damaging heat, this is absolutely the system you need. Here is my long awaited Dyson Air Wrap Review.

Dyson Air Wrap Review

Truth be told, I’ve had the Dyson Airwrap since Christmas and am just now talking about it with you guys. That’s because I really wanted to test it out and give myself some time to figure it out before just posting about it for the sake of posting about it because this is an investment! But after playing around with it for the last three months, I really love this hair styling tool. I use it way more than I thought I would and have come to rely on it for touching up second, third, or even fourth day hair (what? It’s a PANDEMIC)! It has also been sold out for MONTHS – and so I am so excited it’s finally back!

A quick breakdown of this the Dyson Airwrap: It’s truly engineered for all hair types, so whether your hair is straight, curly, wavy, thick, or thin, there is a method and setting perfect for you. It has three heat settings, easy one-click attachments, and cool touch tips so you don’t burn off a finger while styling your locks.

It comes with several different attachments that all serve a specific purpose. Personally, this is how I use each:

1.2” Airwrap Barrel: For Victoria’s Secret style waves (for special occasions)

1.6” Airwrap Barrel: For loose, beachy waves (this is what I use most although I may get the longer attachment – or a haircut, LOL)

Firm smoothing brush and soft smoothing brush: To smooth out hair and achieve sleekness – think Kim Kardashian’s straightened hair.

Round Brush: For a blow-out look or to touch up the volume on non-wash days.

The Dyson Airwrap also comes with a pre-styling dryer attachment and, while it’s not as strong as the OG Dyson Dryer, it absolutely helps to take moisture out of your hair and get it ready for styling – it’s recommended for hair to be 60% dry before using attachments.

I love this tool and the entire system it comes with and highly recommends it! Plus, if you have really long hair, they sell an extra-long attachment you can buy separately. The Dyson Airwrap leaves no lock untouched!

** Please ignore my baby hairs in this photo – I forgot my finishing stick and it has nothing to do with this product – just postpartum!
