I have gotten a ton of questions about my Gucci Princetown Mules via Instagram stories, so I wanted to have a permanent place for everyone to reference. I hope this helps everyone who wants to know more about them – so we’ll get right to it!
1.) Are they worth it? 100%, yes they are. I am absolutely obsessed with them. They are comfortable, practical, and they really are a beautiful shoe. I love the fact that I can throw them on with jeans, dresses, skirts – they really go with everything. There are a ton of similar versions that are less expensive – and I have linked a ton for you – but in my opinion, Gucci mules are classic shoes that will last you a lifetime if you take care of them. So if you want to make the investment – I think they are 100% worth it!
2.) What colors do you recommend? I didn’t expect this – but I wear my black ones so much more than I wear my brown ones. I love having both, but if you’re going to buy just one pair – I say go for the black ones. If you want to buy multiples, I think classic colors are best. Black, brown and white <<< especially for summer. I have my eyes on the white ones next. 🙂
3.) With or without fur? I think the fur ones are SO amazing and they look SO comfortable – but I think if you want to go for the most bang for your buck – go for the ones without fur!
4.) How do you care for them? To be honest, I thought my mules would get much more beat up than they have. They are actually incredibly durable. If they do get scuffed up, I just use leather wipes on them. And every month I buff them with shoe polish.
5.) What is the sizing like? I think they definitely run small. Also because they don’t have backs, you don’t want your heel slipping off the edge of the shoe. That being said I would order up a half size. I usually wear a 38.5 in European sizes and in these I take a 39.
6.) Where do you recommend buying them? For me – and I am sure for many of you – the easiest place to purchase them was Nordstrom. I shop there frequently, they have the largest selection of colors, and the returns are super easy. In my opinion, you just can’t go wrong purchasing them from there.
