I don’t know about you, but every single summer my budget seems to be tighter than it is compared to the rest of the year. Probably because of all the weekend getaways, weddings, and birthdays- but I have all this time on my hands since I don’t work during the summer. It has been SUCH a huge challenge to not shop all day every day. I did hit up the Nordstrom Anniversary sale — post on that coming soon! The best part about this outfit is that it’s entirely affordable (with the exception of the bangle).
I just love discovering new designers. I used to always just shop my favorite brands and would buy the same type thing over and over again. Since we started the blog I have been trying to branch out into different styles and brands. I also love experimenting with new trends. This week it was embroidery and Lucy Paris.
Last fall we saw embroidery popping up all over denim; and now the newest trend is embroidered tops and dresses. This trend is directly in line with the boho vibes that have been everywhere as of lately. I have never been one to follow the Coachella trends but the Native American in me was really drawn to this shirt! The best part? It’s now on sale and under $35! I love the simplicity and romanticism of this look. This shirt is perfect for summer: it’s lightweight, comfy and easy. What’s not to love?
Shop our favorite Lucy Paris pieces at the end of this post.
