Thank you to Zappos for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
I’ve said it time and time again, but it still rings true: shopping for swimsuits is hard. Like, really hard. Even for the fittest and most confident person, it can be a struggle. There is no harsher reality than staring at your body in fluorescent dressing room lights, and just feeling blah about yourself. I always order my swimsuits online from Zappos for this reason. I also ONLY wear one piece swimsuits and here’s why…

They make me feel more confident. I rarely feel self-conscious when I am wearing a one piece swimsuit.
I don’t feel like I need to hide my body. One pieces hide everything I want to hide, and show off everything I want to show off. I feel less inclined to walk around with a cover-up on when I’m wearing a one piece.
I’m not constantly adjusting them. There is nothing worse than tying and retying and adjusting your swimsuit. I know we’ve all been there. Especially if you’re actually swimming in it. Raise your hand if you’ve ever jumped into a pool or lake only to have your top fly all the way off your boobs? SAME. This doesn’t happen with a one piece.
They can double up as a body suit. See here.
They last longer. For years I would buy the exact same triangle tie bikini, every year the strings frayed and it would only last me a few months. I’ve never had this issue with any of my one piece swimsuits.
This black one piece by JETS really accentuates my waist and makes it appear as if I have an hour glass figure. I actually have a pretty boyish torso, and so anything that makes this illusion possible, I love. It sucks you in at all the right places and gives you more definition where you want it! The thicker halter straps make your shoulders appear more narrow and toned. This is the second suit that I own from JETS. You might remember I did a “body reveal” type of Insta story after my first month counting macros in this red one piece.
