We went with a grey, gold and white color palette in our new home to match the concrete wall statement wall and modern vibe of the architecture. The kids’ rooms were no exception. The boys have modern streamlined grey beds, and althought Caroline’s nursery pretty much stayed the same, we gave it a nice little modern update.
Shop Caroline’s Little Star Organic Collection:
Thanks to Little Star Organic nursery items from Walmart, Caroline’s bedding got the perfect (and sustainable) update that it needed.
First and foremost, I love how cute the star print is. The crib sheet and super soft blanket make the perfect set, and I know I will be gifting the blue set to Ashley for when her baby comes! I also am in love with how soft the sheets are. They legitimately feel like the softest cotton t-shirt in the world.
I also LOVE knowing that our little princess is sleeping on 100% pure organic cotton – and that in addition to it being SUPER cute, it is good for her and the earth as well. So what makes 100% pure organic cotton different? 100% Certified Organic Cotton Organic cotton is grown in an environment where no pesticides, chemical fertilizers, or herbicides have been used for a minimum of three years. I love that.
- Star Blanket: Caroline is blanket obsessed and the second I pulled the grey and white star blanket out, she was immediately in love!
- Star Fitted Sheet: This fitted sheet feels like the softest worn in T-shirt!
- Swaddles: I don’t have the swaddles right now – my kids are long past swaddles – but I will definitely be gifting these to Ashley for when baby Hurd is having his grey monochrome days. 🙂
- Changing Pad Cover: You all know when I choose a theme – especially with interior design – that I really commit. So when I got the crib sheet and blanket, I went with the changing pad cover as well!
