Hi Loves!
As many of you know, (if you follow me on instagram and on snapchat) I am currently in Italy on vacation with Joe, William, and our best friends, Jeff and Kristin. I have finally kicked the jet lag (holy crap that was rough!) and am happy to say that I’m up nice and early to tell you why I’m obsessed with everything off the shoulder!
But first — a little about our vacation! After a couple of relaxing days on the Amalfi Coast, I’m writing this from our hotel in Rome, and it is making me SO excited to share everything with you when I get back! FYI, I’ll be writing about our trip in 4 parts: Amalfi, Rome & Florence, Lake Como, and the fourth post (which I am SO excited about) will be a collaboration with a handful of my favorite mommy bloggers on traveling with children – something you definitely do not want to miss. Ok now that the Italy sneak peek is done – let’s talk about this outfit. As I said before, I am obsessed with everything off the shoulder. Always have been, always will be. In fact, I was wearing an off the shoulder sweater the first time I met my husband, and even though we were on dates with other people, he still says that it was what first caught his eye. It was subtly sexy without trying too hard. That is still my favorite kind of look.
Although I do love to wear what Joe likes, let’s be honest, I don’t dress for him. I dress for myself ; and the thing I love most about off the shoulder tops (especially the ones in style now) is that they’re comfortable. They’re flowy, feminine, and incredibly easy to wear. If you don’t have one in your closet, now is the time to add one. They’re perfect for spring and just as easy for summer. The one I’m wearing in these photos is just $28 (I know!) and I get compliments on it everywhere I go. Happy shopping loves! XooX
