I finally bit the bullet and ordered two pairs of Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots — I got them on sale, 25% off. And you’re in luck — they are on sale right now, too! Use code: FALLEVENT for 25% off sitewide. Year after year, I find myself replacing the cheap over the knee boots I bought the year before. More often than not, they will last two-three years, but it’s still such a waste of money in my opinion. I do the same thing with t-shirts — like, why? Emily was my inspiration — she has had hers for YEARS and they still look brand new. I picked up both a flat version, the Lowland, and a heeled version, the Tieland.

The question/comment we get the most when it comes to OTK boots is that they do not fit on people’s legs. Please keep in mind I am not a small girl by any means. Especially not my legs. And I have no issue getting them on. It’s more about the pants you wear underneath them. For example, jeans that are skinny but aren’t super tight won’t work. I love to pair mine with the Good American Good Legs or Spanx leggings.
These boots are definitely investment pieces, but they are classic styles. They will never be out of style — they have been making them for years, and they are always best sellers!
I love love love these boots! I get so sad to take them off. Honestly, I’m super sad I didn’t buy them earlier. They are so comfy and you can just tell how good the quality is the second you put them on. These are the boots I will wear the most. I always tend to lean toward flats whenever there is an option. I can’t wait to pair these with dresses for the holidays! Don’t get me wrong, these are definitely an investment — but I do think it’s worth it if you have tried the trend and love it.
If you are wanting to try out the over the knee boot trend or on the fence about it, starting out with a dupe might be your best option. That way you can see if you like it — test it out for a few seasons and then upgrade if you really want to.
These are just so classic and flattering. The chunky heel makes them super comfortable and this is such a fun way to dress up an outfit in the fall. I love how chic these are, and you can wear them with literally anything! Same as with the Lowland, I love to wear these with super skinny jeans, or leggings. It’s such an effortless, quick look!
There are so many good dupes for the heeled version of this over the knee boot. I have had the Steve Madden ones for years!
Caring for your Over the Knee Boots:
Whenever I get new suede shoes (or anything like an Ugg) I will spray it with this suede protector spray. I’ve actually used it three times this past month! It really holds up well and keeps your shoes from getting stained. For any touchups or spots you do get on it (think like mud or a smudge), I always spot clean with a suede brush.
