13 weeks pregnant. Goodbye first trimester… goodbye morning sickness (hopefully sometime soon?!?)… and goodbye skinny jeans.

Until we meet again, old friends… sniff sniff…

As much as I wish I was one of  those women who could manage to wear my regular clothes all throughout my pregnancy, I’m gonna be real with you and say… I hate those people. Ok, I kid, I kid. I don’t hate them… I just don’t get it. The second I get pregnant… or so it would seem… my boobs get huge, my belly expands, and my butt starts to rival JLo’s… just without the 7 day a week workouts. :/

As it turns out this whole growing a human thing isn’t easy. Weird.

Anyhow… the point of me telling you all of this is – not to complain – BUT… to say that I’m constantly on  the lookout for only THE most comfortable dresses and clothes to fit my new curves. 🙂 I’ll be sharing many of them with you in the months to come, and the first is this dress here.

We may have mentioned it before… but we are LOVING the pajama trend. Pajama pants, pajama inspired suiting, and of course, pajama dresses. This one that you see here, is just under $50 and will be THE most comfortable piece of clothing in your wardrobe. It is truly amazing. I love the contrast piping, and because it is black and ivory, it feels sophisticated instead of sloppy. You don’t want to look like you literally “just rolled out of bed.” No… the look is “pajama inspired” not “what you wore to bed last night.” 🙂

I paired this dress with simple black accessories – my vintage Ferragamo clutch, my trusty Stuart Weitzman nudist sandals, and my favorite Illesteva sunnies. All in all, I love this look for work, for girls’ night out… even for date night.

What do you think? Are you on board with the pajama trend?
