Peloton Tread Review

We get asked so often about our treadmills. Which models we have, are they worth it, do we recommend etc. I shot these photos in my old house right before Covid shut everything down. Peloton put their shipping on pause for a little bit, so I didn’t want to publish a review on something when you couldn’t get it! Production is back on track and now there are even more treads to choose from!

Peloton Tread Review

I have the Tread +, they now make a smaller, more affordable version, just called the Tread. The difference is a big one – about $1800 difference which is crazy! I can only speak on the Tread +, so my review will be about that one! Knowing that they have two now, I still would have ordered the Tread +, given the option.

My treadmill was one of the greatest purchases I made in 2020. I saved up for my whole pregnancy for it! I haven’t been to a gym since 2019 all because of the tread and the Peloton app. I am able to take walking, running, hiking, boot camp, strength, meditation,  and yoga classes. They also just added barre too! You can also just walk or run with no class, which is what I do whenever I am working or listening to an audiobook or podcast. I love all the options, and I have no excuse to not do it since it’s just feet away from my bedroom. The app is also amazing for outdoor walks too! You can use the app if you don’t have the bike or tread.

I was so spoiled by the Woodways at Barry’s that I am SUPER picky about my treadmills – and those run around 11k. I suffer from pretty bad shin splints and the slats on the Woodway helped me with that. Because of this, I will probably never be an outdoor runner. The Peloton Tread has the same slats and amazing support – the shock-absorbing belt, built with 59 individual slats, adds support under every step and maximum comfort to your toughest workouts.

The Peloton Tread has been so good for both my physical and mental health. It was an investment but I have already done over 250 workouts and I haven’t even had it for a year. I was able to lose over 60 pounds since I gave birth and kept my anxiety manageable. Especially with the Reno weather, I think my treadmill has truly been my quarantine saving grace. My favorite instructors are Chase & Adrian – their music and energy keeps me super motivated.  I also love that I can just walk and listen to an audio book or podcast,  or even put my laptop right on the tread when I need to catch up on work!

I love my tread so much, I think I am going to order the bike too just to mix it up!
