The weather has finally turned a corner, and we’re thinking it’s spring temperatures and blue skies ahead of us here in Reno! I am so excited about it because it means I can finally focus on giving our patio a spring refresh, which also means I can finally order all the cutest Walmart Home patio pieces I’ve had sitting in my cart to make my vision come to life.

Between the Queer Eye guys’ Walmart Home collection, and Beautiful by Drew Barrymore, Walmart’s selection for refreshing your home space (both indoor and outdoor) is vast, trendy, and gorgeous. In fact, all the amazing options for a spring patio refresh may overwhelm you like it did me, so I’m sharing what I ended up with to help guide you in your mission to get ready for all things outdoors!
First thing’s first: drinks! You can’t really call a patio a patio without a legit cocktail setup at the ready. Our chosen adult beverage during the spring and summer are hands down ice-cold margaritas, so I bought us a Beautiful Blender (that’s touchscreen!), a gorgeous pitcher from The Pioneer Woman’s line to hold our delicious creation, and the perfect margarita glasses to serve to guests!
Now that you have the most important part figured out, let’s dive into the actual patio itself. Like I said before, Walmart Home offers no shortage of options to create the perfect patio space. I knew I wanted to get a few new lanterns to make our patio as cozy as possible, so I purchased both this gold and wood solar-powered lantern that comes with an LED candle built-in, and this super vibey rattan lantern that also comes with an LED candle! I love mixing the material of both and they look so good together on the patio!
Of course, no outdoor space is complete without some greenery, and snake plants are insanely easy to care for and keep alive, so I got this small guy plus awesome ceramic and wood planter stand to house him!
These Mainstays Asher Springs rocking chairs are some of the most comfortable chairs I’ve ever sat in, so I knew I had to add them to the patio. The armrests are extra wide and the fabric on the chairs is fade-proof, so they can safely sit in the sun and not lose their color. To add even more ambience to my spring patio refresh, I got this small fire pit from Walmart Home (only $42!), as well as these stunning Willow Tree string lights. They can be hung from trees, your patio, or a pergola—whatever you have and whatever you want to dress up in string lights! It’s my belief that string lights truly make a space, and these most definitely added so much to ours.
All this instantly transformed and bettered our patio space, but I couldn’t stop there. I knew it needed just a few more touches to be perfect. I saw this textured ceramic stool and added it to cart immediately. I’ve never seen anything like it and love it as a decorative piece/side table or for extra seating if necessary! I also grabbed this 49-piece steel and plastic cutlery set that’s perfect for outside entertainment, and this 3-slot woven basket to store the cutlery plus napkins and other outdoor dining necessities!
A legit haul, right?! Walmart Home truly has it all and then some, whether you’re refreshing an indoor or outdoor space. I’m so in love with my new setup and cannot wait to spend as much time back there as possible this season!
