This post has been a long time coming. A few of these books I read in Hawaii, where I started this post. But I’m glad I waited because I have read some really great books lately. With this dang injury (pinched nerves, upper crossed syndrome and Anterolisthesis, I have been trying to stay off my phone, which means reading more)! I wanted to get this list out there before I delve into all the summer books on our honeymoon! There are a ton of amazing summer books coming out, so I will be sure to update you on all of those once we’re back! Here are the books to read right now!

Books to Read Right Now:
Where the Crawdads Sing
This book came highly recommended by you guys when I put a little questions box up on our stories. This was one of Reese Witherspoon’s book club books and I can definitely see why!
Eleanor Oliphant
This was recommended to me by my dear friend Zoe. It’s definitely different from the normal books I read — a little more literary if you will. The characters are incredible and although it started a bit slow, by page 100, I was hooked!
The Idea of You
Another book rec from my girls at Somewhere Lately. Guys, this book is unreal! I finished it in a day. And there’s a little rumor that it might be turning into a movie soon!
Watching You
This book definitely gives me Rear Window vibes. It’s a certified page turner and I finished it in a day — are you getting the theme here, lol?
Winter in Paradise
Elin Hildebrand is hands down one of my favorite authors. I read her summer release every single year. I am so glad she started a winter series too, because now I get a little extra fix in! Read this now so you are caught up for the next release around the holidays!
When Life Gives You Lululemons
Once I got back from Dallas, I swore we were going to do nothing on the weekends until the wedding. I spent this past Saturday cleaning up the house and reading this book. I absolutely loved it and finished it in a day.
Nine Perfect Strangers
I had such high hopes for this book after Big Little Lies. I think that set some unrealistic expectations, it wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t bad by any means. Still worth a read, especially if you’re on vacation!
Ghosted
I read this book in Hawaii, and stayed up late to finish it. I was HOOKED when I started it on the plane. I have told a ton of my friends to read this if they are going on trips. It’s super entertaining, and I did not see the twist coming. So good!
Are You Sleeping?
If you love murder podcasts like I do, then this book is for you!
Verity
I am a huge fan of Colleen Hoover and this is very different from her usual books. I thoroughly enjoyed her first attempt at writing a thriller and I hope she does more! I could totally see this becoming a movie!
The Silent Patient
Also because of my injury, I decided to download an audio book which is something I usually don’t do. But it was really fun to listen to while cleaning the house and trying to get organized before this wedding! I will be trying to do one Audbile book a month! Let me know if you have any other recommendations!
Next Level Basic
I really tried hard to keep this list down to ten books, but with this new release from Stassi and the audible book mentioned above, I just could not! I pre-ordered this and finished it SO fast. I am a huge Stassi fan and loved getting to know her better. Her and I definitely have one thing in common: we don’t take ourselves too seriously!
