TOMS: Brands that Give Back

We started this blog almost three years ago. And to date, some of our proudest collaborations have been with brands that give back. In fact, our most popular post to date, is a socially responsible smaller brand, that you guys loved. Our first “blogger” mail came from a brand that gave back, and since then, we have loved working with companies like this. That is why I am so excited to be sharing this collaboration with Toms!

Shoes & Backpack // Toms

When I first started teaching, I wore Toms every day. They were comfortable and versatile. I have loved this brand for so long, even when they only made one style of shoes. It has been so fun to watch their evolution, and to see how much their product offering has grown. As you can see, there are a lot more options now!

I am heading to Italy this summer, and really wanted a backpack. This might sound crazy, but I haven’t owned a backpack since 2004. That’s right, since high school. Please don’t try and do the math! But I think they are so cute and practical, but I just couldn’t find one that I loved. Until now — I love how cute it is!

These sneakers are my new favorites (they also come in pink), I wore them non stop on my last trip to Reno! They were super comfy and I got so many compliments on them! My mom already ordered a pair for herself!

Not only has Toms expanded their product offerings, but they also expanded the ways in which they give back. They used to give one pair of shoes to someone in need for every pair sold. Now, TOMS works with more than 100 giving partners to deliver Toms shoes, sight, water, safe births and bullying prevention to people in need. Now that is a brand I can stand behind. Not only are you getting an amazing product, but there is no buyer’s remorse when every purchase makes such a difference!
