We are in Omaha this weekend to visit Joe’s family. Joe’s little cousin Taylor (who may be the funniest human to ever live) is getting married to her college sweetheart, and we are ALL so excited!
William is the ring bearer, and I cannot wait to see how he does! We have been practicing pretty consistently with him – so I definitely have high hopes! Stay tuned on stories for this!
I sent my bag ahead to Omaha with Joe and William since they had to be there early for the rehearsal dinner. Caroline and I flew in late last night, and thanks to my old traveling with children post >>> here, yes, I actually had to look at it… everything went SO smoothly. She did puke all over herself as we were leaving on our connection in Denver… but… there are definitely worse things. I had the sweetest grandma sitting next to me – and she made me feel so much better about it.
Today, we’re hanging out with family. The wedding is this afternoon, and then the reception is tonight. Since we will just be with family – and since Omaha is pretty casual – I didn’t pack too much. I am really trying to reform my over packing ways. I know this will be hard for you to believe, but for Joe, myself, William, and Caroline, we only packed 1… yes… 1 bag for 3 days. Unreal right?
That being said – here is what I brought to Omaha. Lots of jeans, sweaters, comfy cozies, and one formal outfit for the actual wedding. And really – I’m most excited for you all to see Caroline’s outfit. She is the real MVP of this whole wedding guest situation!
