As many of you know, we’re headed to Mexico to celebrate my birthday this week! I am SO excited – I absolutely cannot wait. So here is the plan for our trip, and in my opinion – what to pack for Cabo.
I usually wait for the day before to pack for trips, but for this one, I am WAYYY ahead of schedule. My bag is pretty much already packed! Joe and I haven’t gotten away (sans kiddos) on a relaxing vacation since Caroline was born. So I am SO excited to get a couple of days of rest and relaxation together. We are going with our friends, Lauren and Cory, and as much as it is a celebration for my birthday, we are also celebrating their 5 year anniversary!!! 5 years ago they got married at the Esperanza in Cabo, so it only made sense that we all headed back to celebrate! The Esperanza is one of my favorite places to stay in Mexico and I absolutely cannot wait to bring you along. It is absolutely stunning, the staff is amazing, and the Cabo Green margaritas are the best things on the planet.
To say I am SOOOO excited is a total understatement.
So now, what to pack for Cabo. I’ve been going to Cabo since I was in high school and I love the laid back + relaxed vibe. You could literally just bring bathing suits, shorts, and sandals and be fine the whole time. Since we are headed to some nicer dinners, I am bringing a couple of nice dresses – but that is about it. So here is the total list: bathing suits, colorful dresses, beautiful coverups, and sandals. I’ve also included some toiletries that I am loving right now. I feel like vacation is the best time to “treat your self” so I love bringing all my favorite masks, serums, and face oils. Just talking about it is getting me excited!
