If you feel like you’ve been seeing Daily Harvest all over our Instagram lately, there’s a reason for it. It’s not only delicious and healthy, but it has also been an absolute time and life saver over our last few months.
My Daily Harvest Favorites:
At the beginning of quarantine, Joe and I were eating horribly. We were totally stress eating. Then… we leaned pretty heavily into cooking every meal and baking everything under the sun. That was fun at first, yet exhausting in the long run. As time has gone on, I think we can all agree that some (if not most) days, the thought of putting yet another full meal together and dirtying dishes then cleaning those dishes is just too much to bear! That’s where Daily Harvest has proven to be my new best friend.
Their offering of smoothies, harvest bowls, and oat bowls are my favorite by far. All of Daily Harvest’s offerings are heavily fruit and veggie based, which makes getting the correct amount of servings a day effortless (and not to mention delicious). Not only that but all the ingredients are sustainably sourced and frozen right on the farm from which they’re retrieved to lock in the highest levels of nutrition and flavor on the spot. Basically, frozen, pre-prepared food doesn’t get much fresher than Daily Harvest.
If you’re a busy mom running after three kids daily like me, I can’t recommend their smoothies enough. By just adding your liquid of choice and blending it together with what Daily Harvest already provides, you have a wildly delicious and super nourishing smoothie in seconds so you can go about your day. The harvest and oat bowls are also ideal for quick breakfasts, lunches, and dinners and involve little to no clean-up—a mom’s dream! Not to say I don’t enjoy cooking for my family, of course I do. But knowing that we have such healthy, nourishing options via Daily Harvest when the kitchen just isn’t happening that day makes me feel great about what I’m feeding myself and my family!
