50 Shades of Grey

Before I begin, I have to say that these shoes are now 50% off! When I first saw these shoes online, they gave off a little bit of a dominatrix vibe. Of course I saw the movie and read the books, so I couldn’t help myself with the title of this blog post- plus, the rainy weather that day added to the “grayness.” Since the shoes are pretty intense, I decided to keep it casual with jeans and a t-shirt. I have been looking for a nice pair of sunglasses for a while. I can’t tell you how many different pairs I have tried on. When my parents were here, we had lunch at The Rotunda inside Neiman Marcus, basically my favorite place on earth; on the way out I found these Prada sunnies.

I wore this outfit out on an impromptu date night with Joe and Hiliary. We went to Marlowe (best burger ever!) for dinner and then decided to head over to the Four Seasons for drinks and a selfie session. While the shoes killed me by the end of the night, they were definitely worth the pain!
