2020 was definitely the year of Amazon – I ordered more times than every before and they really came in clutch when it came to ordering things like masks, alcohol wipes and household necessities. I also discovered a bunch of new favorites that I rounded up below: everything from beauty and fitness to home and electronics. Here is: Ashley’s Best of Amazon 2020.
Ashley’s Best of Amazon 2020
This was my Amazon splurge this month. I have been doing a ton of late-night reading between pumping and feeding. I’ve been using the Kindle app on my phone, but the light was making it hard to go back to sleep, or I would get distracted and scroll Instagram, or Twitter. If I’m going to hit my reading goal of 100 books this year, it will not happen by doing that, so I bought the latest Kindle. I love that it’s gold and it’s a one-use device. The battery lasts five days, whereas my last one only lasted one at the most. It’s super lightweight, waterproof, has warm light, and conveniently placed page-turning buttons.
I got a new gorgeous set of makeup brushes and they wouldn’t fit in the holder that I had, so it was time to upgrade. I love how this is separated so you can organize by face, eyes, etc and the acrylic matches my bathroom perfectly.
I needed a suede kit for some of my Yeezys and saw that my favorite shoe cleaner brand of all time sold it in a kit — done!
I wouldn’t drink any water if it weren’t for this thing. I love how big it is – between always holding a sleeping baby, and being strapped to a pump half the day, I love how you don’t have to refill it that often – it keeps my water super cold, and I always have it nearby.
When I bought this, I had no idea I would be having a c-section, but I wouldn’t have been able to survive recovery without it. I love it for work, reading, and feeding baby.
One of my most asked questions in 2019 was which pods I use – here are my three favorites!
I have been obsessed with these pens FOREVER. But since it’s January – I found myself making more to-do lists and keeping my planner more up to date than usual, which means I fell in love with these pens all over again. They are seriously the best.
When I showed these on stories briefly, everyone asked me to link them — they have every designer you can think of and the covers are SO gorgeous. I am quite the collector of coffee table books, and these are, by far, some of my favorites of all time.
I am drinking so much freaking coffee that I was using all my spoons – so I ordered special ones just for coffee. They are so cute!
This was by far, the most requested link via DM last month!
Bob’s Red Mill gluten-free oatmeal is my favorite, hands down. I make it for breakfast every single morning and throw in some berries and extra flax & chia seeds to bulk it up a bit more. It’s SO good!
You know that incredible scent really nice hotels have? It just smells… fresh. Like a spa. Since we’re not visiting any hotels any time soon, I got this bottle of “The Hotel” oil and diffuser from AromaTech to recreate that relaxing vibe in our home. The Hotel oil has hints of red rose, geranium, lavender, eucalyptus and fresh pine—in other words, it’s perfect.
Heating pads are for the birds. If you’re like me and experienced the most horrific first postpartum period (or have horrific cramps regardless), do yourself and your body a favor and treat yourself to one of these heated blankets. I swear it’s the only reason I’m alive today and able to write this post!
Amazon has all the sweaters, you guys! I love the asymmetric hem on this one, and that it’s a chunky turtleneck. Can’t wait to cozy up in this by the fire!
I shared this incredible scented oil last month, and realized I love it so much, I wanted it in a spray form, too. It really transports you to that 5-star hotel life in just a few spritzes–glorious!
I’m obsessed with scrunchies and always on the lookout for new ones. These were added to cart immediately! The sherpa material is so velvety soft and is such a cute look for wintertime hairstyles. I wear mine daily! They’re also a great stocking stuffer for the ladies in your family.
Baby Joe has a new hobby of kicking his shoes off, so I got him a pair of these adorable, stay-on baby booties and it’s solved that problem! They really do stay on, no matter how strong of a kicker your little one is and come in so many great colors. Sort of wish they made them in adult sizes!
If you’re in the market for a great but affordable record player—whether it’s going to serve as a decor piece or for really playing your records—this one by Wockoder is awesome. It comes with built-in speakers which is super convenient, and it’s wireless! Huge bonus that it’s also aesthetically pleasing and looks great in any room.
To get refocused on my health goals and up the ante with exercise, I got a step platform (AKA bench) to add to my equipment! I love that it comes with adjustable risers so I can make it more or less challenging depending on the workout (and the day, let’s be honest).
