It’s verrry rare that my boyfriend makes an official appearance on the blog. Sure, I talk about him often, but to get him to pose for pictures is damn near impossible. But of course, when I mentioned “Audi” he jumped at the chance to work on this post with me!

Audi On Demand is a new service based in San Francisco. You can rent a luxury car on demand. They hand deliver it to you, and pick it up! It truly is such an amazing service. Our experience with them was wonderful. They dropped off the car at our house on Friday night. The concierge who brought it was so helpful and knowledgeable. He took all the time we needed answering questions about the car and walking us through its special features.
This was perfect timing because this weekend was Joe’s birthday weekend. With all the traveling I’ve been doing for work, I wanted to plan a fun surprise for his birthday. I knew we’d have the car so I wanted to go on a mini road trip for a night. I decided on Monterey. I found an amazing last minute deal at the Monterey Tides. After we shot these photos, we headed to Monterey.
I have never driven down Highway 1 all the way to Monterey so we decided to take the scenic route and really enjoy the car and all it had to offer. The weather was super dreary in the city, but by the time we were down the coast a little, the skies opened up and it turned out to be a gorgeous day.
We had such a good time in Monterey — we ate chowder, finally rented Moonlight, bought salt water taffy, watched the otters, and caught up on some much-needed sleep. We loved the hotel and will definitely head back soon. When they came to pick up the car, I was legit sad. I never thought I could miss a car — but I do. Be sure to check out Audi on Demand — it’s such a fun experience.
What a cool service!! Such a nice ride and so fun you two got to have a fun day with it! My hubby would jump at that chance too haha!
Sounds like you had a great weekend relaxing and celebrating! I love that car and it sounds like such a cool service!
