Thank you so much to NuMe for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
I first discovered the brand NuMe a few years back at New York Fashion Week. It was right at the height of the curling wand trend, and I received one of their wands in a gifting suite and I was SO excited. I fell in love with it immediately, and it has held up after all this time! I am so excited to be sharing their Power Couple set with you guys today. Whether you are looking to curl or straighten your hair, you get the best of both worlds! Use code STEALS2019 for 50% off sitewide until the 6th!

Everything I knew about pregnancy hair told me that after you gave birth, you would start to get baby hairs all over. I don’t know if it’s my prenatals or what but my baby hairs came EARLY! I have been using the NuMe straightener to tame those babies! Head to stories if you want to see the straightener in action! I love it because you can adjust the heat! I put mine right in the middle, but if your hair doesn’t take heat well, then you can use it at the lowest setting. I also love that this set comes with a carrying case and a protective mat so it won’t damage your bathroom sink. It is perfect for everyday use, or for travel!
How I Tame My Pregnancy Baby Hairs:
- Start with clean hair.
- Blow-dry or air-dry your hair, whatever you prefer. I find that mine is smoother if I dry at least the scalp portion of my hair, and let the ends air dry.
- Once your hair is dry, separate into one-inch sections and use the NuMe straightener to smooth everything! I find that this really blends my baby hairs into my hairs and helps get them going in the right direction! If I am in a hurry too and just want my hair to look not so fluffy, you can quickly run this over the bottom inch of your hair and you will look like a new woman!
- Repeat until all of your hair is done — this takes me less than five minutes!
- Apply whatever styling products you like – I like to use a pomade to make sure the hairs stay put and then a few sprays of some volume spray at the root!
