This past weekend my mom, my aunt, and I threw my sister’s bridal shower at my house. It was such an amazing time – and a weekend that I will remember forever! My sister and her fiance are getting married in August in upstate New York – and then they will be honeymooning in Italy and Greece. That being said, we decided on an Amalfi Coast themed bridal shower. It was absolutely stunning – and surprisingly easy to pull off! Read on to see all the photos, all the items we used to decorate, and more!
I got SO many questions via Instagram about everything we used for the shower. So I am linking everything and every vendor we used in this post.
What We Wore:
My sister wore the stunning white dress (see above and linked below) with my favorite patent leather white Louboutins. I wore an amazing blue and white maxi dress that is SO comfortable. When I checked over the weekend it was sold out literally everywhere, but yesterday I saw it was restocked here, here, and here! I am wearing the size small – and I would HIGHLY recommend this dress. I have it in red as well!
Decor:
For my sister’s Amalfi Coast Themed Bridal Shower – we decorated the tables with lemon table runners, white flowers with greenery spilling over, blue and white tiles, and for a little bit of contrast we incorporated stunning blue drinking goblets. Party favors were mini assorted olive oil bottles. The shower games by Pretty Little Paper Co. incorporated the lemon theme. We placed huge bowls of lemons everywhere, and to break up the white, green, and blue – we scattered large vases of bright pink peonies around the house. The main attraction – as far as decor was concerned – was the boxwood photo wall we set up in the foyer. Some of you may remember from our Instagram stories – I got a very random idea to create this wall. I ordered everything on Monday night and everything was at my house by Wednesday. After 45 minutes of assembly on Friday (most of which was blowing up balloons for the balloon arch) we hd a gorgeous photo wall! I will be sharing all the details in a dedicated post later this week – but if you are throwing any kind of a party – I HIGHLY recommend this boxwood set! The reviews were amazing, and I have to agree – it was a beautiful addition to the party and just SO easy to assemble!

Food:
The catering was done by our favorite, Blend Catering. We started with a burrata bar – at the bride’s request. 🙂 Then, the main menu consisted of prosciutto wrapped chicken, lemon caper salmon, an herbed goat cheese salad, pesto penne, grilled asparagus, and olive oil focaccia. Dessert was a chocolate hazelnut panna cotta, a fresh berry tart, and mini tiramisu! Everything was SO amazing.
Drinks:
To go with the theme, the signature drink was a bright, cheery and delicious Aperol Spritz.
Games:
My sister wasn’t really into the traditional Bridal Shower “games” so I had “How well do you know the bride?” type games printed – and those were all the activities we needed. You can see the games in some of the photos. They were very fun, super simple, and I gifted the winner of each game my favorite Barefoot Dreams blanket!
All in all it was the most perfect day, and my sister said she finally felt like a bride. That made me smile from ear to ear! My sister and I had the best time all weekend long, it really was just such wonderful time together. We even had sleepovers together in my guest bedroom – and the time just felt very special. I am SO excited for her wedding in August and I cannot wait to bring you along!
